5, 4, 3, 2, 1, Bye-Bye Anxiety!
Try this technique yourself or with someone else in a moment of anxiety or worry.
Begin by taking a deep breath and as you exhale, notice:
- 5 things you can see
- 4 things you can touch
- 3 things you can hear
- 2 things you can smell
- 1 thing you can taste
Continue by following your breath and notice what has shifted. This technique is useful to break free from looping thoughts.
